Enhance, Expand and Scale with IBM Cloud— DIFC FinTech Hive

In the current unprecedented situation when almost all events are virtual, IBM MEA was invited by the DIFC FinTech Hive to interact with startups focusing on Financial Technologies. The topic of our event on August 27, 2020, was How to Build, Launch & Scale FinTech ideas with IBM.

The agenda included an introduction to IBM’s vision of the Cognitive Enterprise, Cloud Pak for Data, positioning of the IBM Cloud for Financial Services, the importance of data, and focus on understanding and meeting customer’s expectations, IBM Blockchain strategy, and the Next Gen IBM partnering program. IBM team has also conducted several Tech Demonstrations, which leveraged IBM Cloud(IBM Cloud Stories).

The IBM Panel included Pawel Stefanski — MEA Financial Services Sector solutions leader, Iqbal AliKhan — Business Development and Banking Innovation leader, Phillip De Ridder — Lead Technologist, IBM Next-Generation Ecosystem, and Naiyarah Hussain, masamh & Mridul Bhandari from IBM Developer.
